Best Chance offers support into employment, education or training for our residents and the wider community. Our volunteering opportunities and apprenticeships help people enhance their skills and experiences.
If you’ve finished full-time education and are unsure of your career path, this could be a great first step on the job ladder. If you’re considering a career change, our Best Chance programme, run by our Community investment team, could be an invaluable opportunity to develop new skills and give something back.
Best Chance is made up of:
We support our residents and the wider west London community people to gain more skills, work experience, training or progress in their career. This year, our Best Chance team helped 210 residents with career progression. Read our annual report to find out more about how Best Chance helps communities.
Volunteering is a great way to acquire new skills and meet people. We have volunteering opportunities throughout the group, and if we don't have the right opportunity for us, we will help you find it.
If you’re currently thinking about starting an apprenticeship, we may have the right opportunity for you. Joining us as an apprentice means that over 18-24 months, you will gain practical experience and training while studying towards a recognised qualification.
We work with young adults living in our properties and those living in council housing in local boroughs to help them develop independent living skills and achieve career goals to enable them to move out of the family home. Find out more about the programme here.
We provide support for people in achieving their desired goals. This could be to progress careers or reduce isolation.
