Wa-Hayes! New homes in West London!

We are delighted to announce that we have started work on 27 new affordable homes in Hayes.

We have been granted planning permission by the London Borough of Hillingdon to redevelop The Crane, a public house that has been closed since 2017. The Crane is a nearby river which creates the boundary between the London boroughs of Hillingdon and Hounslow.

The 27 homes are a mix of 1,2 and 3 bedroom flats due to be complete in early 2022. The £9m development in North Hyde Road, is located near local amenities including Hayes town centre and its shops, a primary school, two parks, Hayes and Harlington station and Heathrow Airport. Hillingdon council will nominate residents on its housing waiting list to live there.

SBHG’s Head of Development, Jon Clowes, said: “Hayes is a vibrant area and, with its excellent transport links, is just 20 minutes into central London. We want to help people live affordably in West London so we’re delighted to be adding more homes to our growing Hillingdon development portfolio - a borough in which we already have 430 homes. Overall this is part of our plans to build 1200 homes by 2030.”

SBHG is also building 87 homes at nearby Horton Road in West Drayton, a site that will be completed early next year.

The development is being constructed by Vision Construct, and  is designed by PLC Architects.
