New COVID restrictions take effect from Monday 13th December. For the most part, our services will remain unaffected, our customer and repairs teams will be working as usual. However, due to the amended restrictions more of us are having to work from home. This means that customers who would like to meet with us in person in the office must book an appointment in advance.

Are you interested in shaping our future while developing your skills?

Do you care about your community and understand the issues affecting our residents?

Could you bring a fresh perspective and use your skills and knowledge to be part of SBHA’s Board?

As a community-focused housing association, our residents are at the heart of what we do. We are seeking residents to becomeTenant Board Members to join our team.

We are recruiting for the following 2 positions:

1) Associate Tenant Board Member

This is suited to residents who are interested in joining our one-year Board Training Programme. We welcome applications from residents who are committed to learning and developing new skills. Previous housing experience and knowledge is not essential.

2) Tenant Board Member

What we need from you

You will need to demonstrate a commitment to our social purpose. We are specifically focussing on under representation in our governance structures and so we are keen to hear from our leaseholders who may be interested in applying.

Roy Clark, one of our resident Board members, said: “As well as influencing how the organisation operates strategically, this is a great opportunity to acquire skills which can be applied in your life and career”.
