Business Plan
In our Business Plan 2024/25, we have set ourselves ambitious targets.
2023/24 marked a turning point for Shepherds Bush Housing Association as we completed our merger with The Guinness Partnership and became a Group subsidiary.
We chose to become part of a larger group in order to provide greater certainty in meeting our long-term business plan and, with a shared vision and purpose, The Guinness Partnership made the right partner for SBHA.
The past has left us with some challenges to overcome, but we are making good progress restructuring and simplifying the business and uniting around our core purpose to provide safe, decent and good quality homes, and good reliable services. With the improvements we have already made, and the strength that comes from being part of The Guinness Partnership, we will start delivering in 2024/25 the commitments made in the partnership business case:
Great Service - Provide great quality service in each and every transaction, with renewed focus on our investment in the local community, strengthening the voice of our customers, and our value proposition.
Great Homes - Improve the quality and safety of homes more quickly through investing in them, so that residents can experience a good quality of life and live in better homes.
Great Place to Work - Improve our colleague offer and invest in colleagues so that our residents are supported and looked after by skilled and dedicated colleagues who enjoy working for SBHA
Great Business - Ensure we are fit for the future by generating cash and decelerating borrowing. Improving data quality and overall governance. Leveraging the benefits of group integration by using our combined strengths to anticipate and respond to the sector’s increasing challenges.
We are clear on what we need to do and had already started work in2023/24 in parallel to our strategic journey into partnership.
Our mission to improve quality hasn’t changed so we have set ourselves some ambitious targets, grouped into themes and commitments. We are confident that with the strength, social purpose and shared values we can rise to the challenge and deliver for our residents.
