Ex servicemen nomination scheme
We think it's important to support our veterans. As ex-servicemen and ex-servicewomen do not obtain priority under existing legislation, we provide a small quota of homes for ex-servicemen and women. For this we are working together with Stoll.
Stoll provides housing and support for veterans from the age of 18, including single people, couples and families, people with disabilities (both physical disabilities and mental ill health) and people who are homeless or vulnerable to homelessness.
To qualify to be housed through Stoll, applicants must be in need of housing or alternative housing and able to maintain a tenancy. They must also meet one of the following criteria (which are considered in priority order):
» Service either in the armed forces or Merchant Navy or the widow or widower of such a person and have a disability of a permanent nature.
» Service either in the railway, postal, municipal or police services, or are the widow or widower of such a person and have a disability of a permanent nature.
