Single homeless people

Westside Support Service offers supported accommodation for people who are single and homeless. To be eligible, people must have established local connections in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. The service is for people aged between18 and 65 years.

Westside Support Services provide supported accommodation at two gender specific schemes in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.

One offers six units for men and the other offers eight units for women..

The accommodation is based on a self-contained bedroom within a shared flat, comprising of communal bathing and kitchen facilities.

The service provides semi-independent living accommodation with support and guidance. We help prepare people who have been single homeless to be able to sustain a tenancy. People are given support to develop essential skills to maintain a home, encourage personal development through a day-time activity such as training, education, employment or volunteering. The service helps people prepare to move into alternative accommodation.

Support is provided through regular sessions with a dedicated support worker. A support programme is set up using our person centred needs assessment and support plan.

Westside helps people to move on to:

  • Shared accommodation
  • Private lettings
  • Local authority accommodation
  • Registered social landlords
  • Other housing providers.
