Discounted Furniture
There is a discount of 25% available on most items to those who can provide proof of specific benefits. Any of the following benefits are accepted (proof must be less than 3 months old):
- Income support
- Pension credits
- Disability allowance
- JSA
- DLA
- Full housing benefit
Benefits NOT eligible for discount:
- Child benefits
- Child tax credits
- Working tax credits
- Partial housing benefit
- Employment and support allowance
In addition to this base discount, those receiving the above listed benefits classify for further savings if they are a tenant of:
1. Shepherds Bush Housing Association tenants who are in receipt of the above listed benefits will be entitled to a discount of 40% off the market price of each item.
2. Hammersmith and Fulham Homes residents who are in receipt of the above listed benefits are entitled to a 30% discount on market prices.
3. City of Westminster (RMGL) a) If you are housed and referred by City of Westminster (RMGL) and are in receipt of specified benefits you will be entitled to choose gifted and discounted furniture for up to a value of £250. The delivery charge of £12 must be paid by you. Furnish must have received a referral form in advance from City of Westminster, stating your grant.
b) If you have not been referred by City of Westminster, but are housed by them and in receipt of above specified benefits, you are entitled to a discount on gifted furniture of 40% off the market price.
These discounts are in recognition of the funding Furnish receives from the London Boroughs of Hammersmith & Fulham and City of Westminster.
Requirements:
- You need to show all relevant documents on every visit, including proof of benefits (not older than 3 months) and your tenancy agreement (original document).
- We only deliver to the address on the entitlement letter/tenancy agreement.
- You do not need to arrange an appointment with us.
