How do I donate furniture?
If you have good quality furniture to donate please contact Furnish, our furniture re-use service. Furnish will arrange to collect it for £15 or you can drop it off at the warehouse.

Is there a cost for your housing advice?
SF offers free housing advice to residents in the Royal borough of Kensington and Chelsea or the London borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.
What is a home improvement?
We can offer you a home improvement to enable you to live more comfortably in your home. We could fit any of the following to your home: a ramp to your door, handrails, basin height adjustment or heating insulation.

Can my child take part in MEND?
The MEND (Mind, Exercise, Nutrition, Do-it) programme is available to children in the London borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. Parents can refer their children directly by contacting the Well-being project.

What is the health trainer service?
Health trainers offer advice on many health related issues. It could be quitting smoking, loosing weight or eating more healthily. They will work on a one to one programme designed to meet your individual needs.
I’m interested in volunteering, what kind of things would I be able to do?
This depends on the role you are interested in. Some of our volunteers work in offices answering enquires. Some offer companionship for vulnerable residents.

Be-friending is where volunteers spend time with lonely or vulnerable residents. This will involve spending time talking to them, doing small tasks such as reading letters or going for short walks. |
