Housing advice - HASKC
Housing Advice Service Kensington and Chelsea (HASKC) provides free, confidential and independent housing advice for people who live, work or study in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. The HASKC service is provided by SPS in partnership with Nucleus Legal Advice Agency and Oliver Fisher Solicitors.
HASKC provides advice, casework and advocacy in all areas of housing law including:
• Homelessness
• Housing benefit
• Repairs
• Rent arrears
• Housing tenancies
• Domestic violence advice
• Housing options.
HASKC provides drop-in advice sessions (no appointment necessary).
HASKC also provides:
A telephone advice line Monday to Friday 10.30am to 3.00pm on 020 8996 8900 or 020 7373 6262.
Emergency advice services for people who will be homeless that day or where there is a bailiff’s warrant/eviction order. To arrange an appointment please call 020 3219 0145.
A home visit service is available for people who cannot attend drop-in sessions due to health or mobility issues. To arrange a visit please call 020 8996 8900.
HASKC will try to arrange translators for people whom English is not their first language.
