Homeless Prevention Service

 

Staying Put Service's Homeless Prevention service is a free, independent and confidential housing advice service for people who live in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. The aim of the service is to prevent homelessness.

 
The Homeless Prevention Service offers advice on:
• Housing Benefit (including back-dating payments)
• Homelessness prevention
• Improving residents’ knowledge of the housing options open to them
• Security of tenure
• Tenancy sustainment
• Rent arrears
• Possession proceedings
• Disrepair.

Residents have the option to refer themselves to the service. Alternatively, residents can be referred from the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, registered social landlords (for example housing associations) or any housing and advice agencies in the borough.
