Furnish
Furnish is our furniture re-use charity. Furnish collects donated furniture and redistributes it to vulnerable and homeless people referred to us by a wide range of agencies.
In the past year Furnish collected 170 tonnes of furniture, made 1,537 collections of donated furniture and delivered to over 800 homes. This helps reduce the amount of furniture ‘lost’ to landfill.
In addition, more than 1,200 people visited the Furnish warehouse to select items for their homes. Furnish’s services to tenants helps provide affordable furniture for the early stages of the tenancy, often speeding up the moving in process.
Furnish created a showflat at Shepherds Bush Housing Group's prestigious WestPoint development entirely with donated furniture, showing how you can shave £2000 off the cost of kitting out your home by using recyled furniture.
If you have good quality furnitire you no longer need, Furnish would be pleased to help you out.

- Work experience placements and volunteer opportunities.
 Caring about CarbonFurnish has embarked on a three year project to monitor and reduce carbon emissions as part of the Carbon Smart programme. In recognition of the monitoring and action planning already undertaken Furnish has been awarded the Carbon Smart Blue accreditation.
