Estate inspections
We carry out estate inspections because it gives us an opportunity to check the condition and cleanliness of the communal areas where you live. Estate inspections also give us the opportunity to manage your estates effectively and engage with the people who live there.
When we carry out estate inspections we are looking at:
• cleaning of communal areas
• gardening and landscaping of communal areas
• litter and fly tipping
• repairs to communal doors, bin stores etc.
• graffiti
• local authority or private commercial refuse collection problems
• damage to fences and boundary walls
• health and safety inspections of play areas
• abandoned cars
• anti-social behaviour issues
During the inspection you can approach your officer to discuss any issues or concerns that you have. You can also attend the inspection with the officer.
Below you will find the dates of estate inspections taking place until the end of March 2012. Please call your officer for details on the time of the inspections for your estate. Dates are also advertised on estate noticeboards.
