Other ways to get involved
Shepherds Bush Housing Association has many ways for residents to get involved.
We hold regular forums such as the maintenance forum and the repairs focus group. These meet on quarterly to discuss issues and development of the services provided by Shepherds Bush Housing Group’s property maintenance department.
We have three Meet the Chef Executive meetings annually. These are geared towards residents living in street properties. These residents may not have the same opportunities to form residents’ associations as those living on estates.
Every year we carry out our “Big Conversation” where every member of staff from the Chief Executive downwards meets residents in their homes and listens to their views.
We are developing an email forum for residents to complete surveys and make their views known. This is in addition to the paper surveys and satisfaction feedback forms that we encourage residents to complete.
Our annual residents’ conference is an opportunity for residents to get together and meet staff. The next conference will be in September 2010.
We will also hold forums, consultation events, and open agenda evenings through out the year to meet with as many residents as possible to hear your views and ideas.
