Core Benefits
Simply Health
The simply health cash plan is a comprehensive health plan which It includes pre-employment screening, occupational health provision, an employee assistance programme and eye care vouchers. Most importantly the simply health cash plan covers you for medical, dental, consultancy and diagnostic expenses. We provide you with level one cover.
Time off for volunteering We grant all employees time off for volunteering activities with registered charities and recognised organisations to the value of two days every year.
Buying and selling annual leave
Employees may buy and sell up to three days annual leave at the beginning of the leave year.
Other core benefits
These include pension provision, season ticket and computer loans, flexi-time, flexible working, childcare vouchers, cycle to work scheme and support for professional qualifications.
Flexible Benefits
Employees make one choice per year from the following:
Simply health cash plan – increasing your membership level Level one cover within the SBHG simply health plan is provided to all employees but you may also opt to increase their cover.
Simply health dental plan
We also offer a dental-only plan. Your personal monthly allowance provides level one coverage so if you are more interested in dental than optical then this provides a higher level of coverage.
Subsidised corporate gym membership
Employees can take advantage of a corporate gym membership with Fitness First. A subsidised monthly rate of approximately £37 per month inclusive of VAT is offered. This means that if you use your allowance towards gym membership, your monthly payments would be as little as £28 per month.
Subsidised Car Club All SBHG employees can become a member of Streetcar for an annual fee of £59.00. Choosing Streetcar as your benefit entitles you to £13 of free driving per month.
Buying of annual leave
The additional benefit can also be used to buy annual leave. This is calculated using the employee’s basic salary.
Taste card membership SBHG have teamed up with Taste card to offer all employees, and their friend and family, a discounted membership to the UK’s largest diners club. |
