About Shepherds Bush Housing Group
With more than 40 years of delivering quality affordable homes in west London, Shepherds Bush Housing Association (SBHA) has a proud history.
Formed in 1968, it is the parent organisation of the Shepherds Bush Housing Group (SBHG).
Back then members of the Church of St Stephen and St Thomas in Shepherds Bush were deeply concerned about the lack of good quality affordable housing locally. They created SBHA and laid the foundations of SBHG in 2010.

We are much more than just a landlord. Between our businesses we incorporate traditional housing provision, support services for those who are vulnerable and a large development and property acquisition portfolio.
We regenerate neighbourhoods, help residents to live independently, run a well-being service, provide a furniture re-use service and help people onto the property ladder through low cost home ownership.
We own and manage nearly 5,000 homes across a variety of tenures as we believe that providing affordable homes of quality is the very foundation of our society.
We aim to provide diverse services that add value to new and existing communities and that our residents can value and enjoy.
SBHG is one of almost 1,300 housing associations across England who are members of the National Housing Federation (NHF). The NHF supports and promotes the work that housing associations do and campaigns for better housing and neighbourhoods. Its members own or manage 2 million homes for around 5 million people.
To help us achieve some of those challenging targets SBHG works in partnership with two other London and Home Counties housing associations: Octavia Housing & Care and the Origin Housing Group. Together we are the Connected Partnership and we were recently awarded £71m from the Homes and Communities Agency. |
