About Shepherds Bush Housing Group
With more than 40 years of delivering quality affordable homes in west London, Shepherds Bush Housing Association (SBHA) has a very proud history.
It was formed in 1968 by members of the Church of St Stephen and St Thomas in Shepherds Bush who were deeply concerned about the lack of good quality affordable housing locally. SBHA is the parent organisation of Shepherds Bush Housing Group (SBHG).

In 2012, we are much more than a landlord. We offer traditional housing and a development and property acquisition portfolio.
We own and manage more than 5,000 homes across a variety of tenures as we believe that affordable homes of quality are the foundation of our society. We regenerate neighbourhoods, help residents to live independently, run a well-being service, provide a furniture re-use service and help people onto the property ladder through low cost home ownership.
We are one of almost 1,300 English housing associations who are members of the National Housing Federation (NHF). The NHF supports and promotes the work that housing associations do and campaigns for better housing and neighbourhoods. Its members own or manage 2 million homes for around 5 million people.
We work in partnership with two other housing associations: Octavia Housing and Care and the Origin Housing Group. Together we are the Connected Partnership. We are a founder member of the PlaceShaper alliance of community focussed housing associations. |
