Business plan 2009 - 2013
Each April SBHG publishes its business plan. This plan ensures we remain dynamic, innovative, and efficient in a rapidly changing environment.
Each year we review our aims and objectives. In the latest business plan, we have taken into account the recent acceleration into recession. Our Board decided that our future strategy should be built around a new mission statement reflecting our diversity, differentiating us from others and focusing on our positive impact. Our mission statement is Delivering, Distinctive, Diverse.
We will be recognised as the best in London for our homes and services. We will achieve this by:
- Delivering our promises through excellent performance
- Being distinctive for what we do and how we do it
- Being diverse by providing a range of services that reflect individual needs.
By 2013 we plan to:
- Provide an additional 500 homes of for rent and shared ownership, where values support such developments and demand is clear
- Provide an additional 100 homes for temporary accommodation
- Re-invest over £4million in existing homes
- Expand and develop our contribution to local community services
- Develop our reputation as an excellent employer of choice
- Through continuous improvement, ensure we develop the best services for residents in London
- Establish Domus as a market-leading maintenance service
- Produce value for money for our residents through efficiencies in our service
- Take other growth opportunities that meet our local service ethos
- Ensure our resident involvement ethos is developed and produces clear outcomes.
