SBHA tackles anti-social behaviour
An anti-social Shepherds Bush Housing Association (SBHA) tenant has
been evicted following legal action at West London County
Court.
Working with our tenants and other local residents,SBHA staff
treated all information confidentially to ensure local residents
had a safe environment to report their concerns.
The two-day trial was largely successful due to several local
residents (both SBHA tenants and others) providing witness
statements, while four also attended court to give evidence. The
residents also received support from SBHA staff to bring the case
to court.
Hammersmith & Fulham Council signed off a closure order in
October 2005, prior to police raids by the Hammersmith Broadway
Safer Neighbourhoods Team.
This successful eviction means neighbours will no longer suffer
from the actions of the nuisance tenants.
SBHA will not tolerate anti-social behaviour in its properties. If
residents witness anti-social behaviour they can report it to our
staff in strictest confidence.
