Typetalk - inclusive communication

Did you know that Shepherds Bush Housing Group (SBHG) can offer our hearing impaired customers the Royal National Institute for the Deaf's (RNID) typetalk service?

This means staff and tenants can use their phones to send and receive phone conversations in text format.

If you are hearing impaired and wish to call someone at SBHG using your Textphone, simply dial 18001 before the full phone number of the person you wish to call. 18001 will connect you straight to a Typetalk Operator for them to relay your typed message to an SBHG staff member. The Typetalk Operator will only join the call if a Textphone is detected on the line.
