We are continually active in our local areas and hope this adds value to the services given to our tenants and residents. SBHA is the leading agency for the Shepherds Bush Healthy Living Centre.

Summary of Key Achievements and Statistics

Each year SBHA:

• Houses over 200 new tenants
• Collects over £20m in rent from permanent and temporary homes
• Carries out over 8,000 repairs
• Improves over 300 homes with new kitchens, bathrooms and heating
• Builds over 100 new homes

We are particularly proud of:

• Our continuing Investor in People status
• Our record in involving tenants on our Board (one-third of our Board members, including our Chair, are tenants)
• Our record in keeping rent increases low
• The quality of our new homes in West London
• The diversity of our staff and tenants

Customer Involvement

SBHA places strong emphasis on tenant involvement in the running of the organisation through an independent Tenants' Committee and representation on the Association's Committees and Sub Committees. We have set up intouch @ sbha which works directly with tenants and the Independent Tenants' Committee.



SBHA and Bush Homes have adopted the In Business for Neighbourhoods campaign.

In the Group we are looking to clearly identify the resources we are putting into three commitments under the banner of iN business for neighbourhoods. These are specifically:

Neighbourhoods
We are working to develop the sustainability of both Staying Put Services and the Healthy Living Centre with partner organisations but also develop new partnerships with voluntary organisations in our local area.

Customers
We are working with other housing associations on a perception study of our work in one local authority area and intend to produce a new action plan for developing our partnerships in response to the survey.

We intend to show our commitment to iN business for neighbourhoods through our web-site, our communications with partners and tenants, our staff and in our everyday work. In doing so we are seeking to ensure that we make a difference to the local area in which we work and that the Group's reputation for affordable rents, tenant involvement and quality services is maintained.

Community Resources

HASKC is part of the Staying Put Services registered charity which is part of the Shepherds Bush Housing Group. HASKC provides free, confidential and independent housing advice for people who live, work or study in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea. You can access information about fair rents, homelessness, disrepair and other information for private and council tenants at this site.
